The Dream Cabin

We would like to introduce ourselves and briefly explain how our B&B originated.

In 2006 we – Aad and Christel van der Drift with our 3 children Daan (10), Bas (8) and Gijs (3) – bought the former Farm Credit Bank and the manager’s house next to it. After having accommodated the bank the building was used as a printing office for years.

Literally everything needed renovation. Aad is a carpenter / bricklayer who recognises a challenge in anything, as he did in this project.
We started by rebuilding the ‘old Farm Credit Bank’, as a vet contacted us asking if it was possible for him to start his practice there, as he had 5 months left before having to leave its former location.

After finishing that, we tackled the big shed in the garden and the house.
After rebuilding for seven  years we started working on the last project: the B&B.

We have always been dreaming of running a B&B, so we have been working very hard to make this dream come true. The result is our ‘Dream hut’.

On June 20^th we could welcome our very first guests!
We have tried very hard to make the accommodation as comfortable as possible.
